Rob Evans
RBS: Jefferson Poirot BBC: Rob Evans
Rob Evans was solid across the board. Poirot missed a couple of tackles so not in contention for me.
Guilhelm Guirado
RBS: Guilhem Guirado BBC: Guilhem Guirado
The French captain leads by example again with another standout performance.
Dan Cole
RBS: Dan Cole BBC: WP Nel
If anyone was going to run Cole close it was the Italian Cittadini. He topped the meters and carries but gave away 4 penalties which tips it to Cole.
Maro Itoje
RBS: Maro Itoje BBC: George Kruis
Kruis played well but at number 5 not 4 so doesn’t make it in here. Itoje on debut did everything and was head and shoulders above everyone.
Jonny Gray
RBS: Jonny Gray BBC: Jonny Gray
Unanimous. Topped just about every stat table for number 5’s.
John Barclay
RBS: John Barclay BBC: Sam Warburton
Warburton played 7 on Friday night so doesn’t feature here at 6. Barclay carried his club form into this game topping all the charts.
Josh Van der Flier
RBS: John Hardie BBC: John Hardie
Tough competition here. Warburton back at 7 played well but did nothing spectacular. Hardie got a good try and Zani worked hard for the Italians. Van der Flier on debut sneaks it though and was a TMO call away from a try.
Billy Vunipola
RBS: Billy Vunipola BBC: Billy Vunipola
Only the mercurial Italian 8 comes close to Billy V. He was still miles off the impact Vunipola had on the game. Faletau tackled well again but not much else.
Greg Laidlaw
RBS: Gareth Davies BBC: Gareth Davies
Davies had no where near as good a game as last time out. He made 3 clean breaks but made the wrong choice on at least one of those. Laidlaw made sure the Scots didn’t lose again though. Kept the score board ticking over to secure the win.
Dan Biggar
RBS: Dan Biggar BBC: Jonny Sexton
Biggar comes in here as Davies dropped out. Where he lost out last week on wrong choices he comes in for doing most things right.
Jack Nowell
RBS: Jack Nowell BBC: Anthony Watson
Watson comes in on the other wing. Nowell did the dirty jobs well, including a try saving tackle on Henshaw.
Stuart McCloskey
RBS: Stuart McCloskey BBC: Robbie Henshaw

Robbie Henshaw
RBS: Robbie Henshaw BBC: Jonathan Joseph
JJ, Campagnaro and Davies had good games but Henshaw in a reshuffled midfield was great. Denied a try by a awesome tackle.
Anthony Watson
RBS: Leonardo Sarto BBC: George North
North took his try well but did little else. Not Sure how Sarto made it in as he missed 5 tackles. Watson made the most meters and had the most clean breaks and a try to boot.
Stuart Hogg
RBS: Stuart Hogg BBC: Stuart Hogg
Hogg is world class and he showed it.
